Found near caves where they hide, often making a loud drumming noise to
chase predators away. They normally dart into their cave when approached
and then come out again to see where you are. This makes them fairly easy
to shoot.
Grey Chub
Chub B.F. 3kg
Not targeted by most divers as it is considered poor eating. Likes shallow
rocky pinnacles where the waves break. Lying on the bottom hunting bronze
bream or musselcracker, these fish dart out of the turbulent water to have
a look at you. They can change colour from black to silvery.
Concertina Fish
Concertina Fish
Normally found inside the backline where they swim over the sand looking
for food. They are not hunted by most divers.
