Weather conditions, forecasts, visibility reports, satelite images and more
The weather along our coastal regions is greatly influenced by the ocean currents that flow around these shores. The east coast has the warm mozambique and agulhas currents while the west coast has the cold benguela current. Much of the land along the west coast is desert and receives low annual rainfall, while the east coast experiences a subtropical climate and has fairly high annual rainfall figures. As a diver it is important to study the weather patterns and from experience try and predict what the weather will do. Today with the internet and satellite imagery there is a lot more information to help you make informed decisions. Some of these links could help you in predicting the unpredictable!
